Frenchies have a way of changing the environment in the home. Their outgoing and curious nature with a strong will and loyalty to their owners give us a sense of joy and happiness. Studies show over and over that those who have pets live a longer and healthier life. That's why Frenchies are often used as service animals for those that have a chronic illness or those that are recovering from trauma.
But how do you know that your French Bulldog is happy? How do you know that your pet and member of your family is as happy as you are? Sadly they cant talk. They can’t express their feelings or thoughts through words. But dogs do communicate. They communicate with their facial expressions, grunts, barks, yelps, ears, eyes, body posture, fur elevation, tail semaphore, and more.
As a dog owner, it's up to you to take the time to learn to communicate with your pet. Over time you will begin to have a dialog with your furry family member, not just have a monologue. French Bulldogs are smart dogs and they are used to routines and begin to know what we are thinking. There is a greater depth in the communication between a pet and their owner, it goes both ways.
